Hello
My son has inherited the hustle gene. Over the past month, he’s been busy collecting new and nearly new toys from friends and neighbours to sell on a ‘Pay What You Feel’ basis at the local market. This has been his initiative for the past three years - it's fantastic (and utterly exhausting) for all involved, lols.
Last year - in that lovely North wind and hail - he raised £2,124—enough to provide 400 delicious cook-at-home Christmas dinners, turkey and all the trimmings, for people in Dover and Deal.
This year, we’ve had a bumper crop of donations. I’ve never seen so many toys! We've had to hire a man with a van to get everything to the market. What I love most about this initiative is how it benefits everyone—stuff gets a second life instead of going to landfill, and people can pay what they can afford. Win-win. Fingers crossed the weather is on our side and we smash the target! I'll be sure to post some
pics on Insta :)
Love, Calypso (Head of Everything)
ps. Absolutely no obligation, of course, but if you wanted to buy a Christmas Dinner you can here.
